Values
Our family values are honesty, integrity, responsibility and care for others. We continue the tradition of community service started by our grandparents.
Vision
Our vision is to provide quality goods and services, based on what we grow and what we do on the farm. We strive to use our resources sustainably, and to pass on these resources to the next generation in better condition than we received them. We innovate with new technology, new products and new ideas.
History
The Moen farm was started in 1907 by our great grandfather Elias Moen. Ernest and Verna Moen formed Moen Farms Ltd. in 1977. Moen Farms Ltd. is now owned and operated by Jim and Nancy Moen.
We are traditionally durum producers and have introduced pulses and oilseeds on our farm since the 1990’s. We have been producing pedigreed seed since 2000. Our seed plant was constructed with a certified 90’ scale in 2015. We became a bulk storage facility in 2011 and became an approved conditioner and grader in 2015.
We are proud to provide seed cleaning and seed treating services to prairie farmers.
